Our Executive Director, Mr. Thomas Sendeza who is also the Chair Person for Balaka CSO Youth Thematic Group was invited on 11th January 2023 to participate in a tree planting exercise at Chisangalatso Free Nursery School (CNS) Khwisa Centre. 200 trees were planted at the centre by the youths. Speaking at the end of the function Thomas thanked CNS for organising the tree planting exercise and encouraged the young people in Balaka to plant more trees as one way of responding to climate change. Further, he said that planting trees alone is not enough, we need to take care of them so that they survive.
